We've heard all the rumors on the Internet, claiming that the University of Pittsburgh will join the Big Ten, with an announcement coming this week.However it has never been a true report justifying the whispers, tweets and blogs . But now there is a report refuting the Chicago Tribune Teddy Greenstein reports rumor.The Big Ten will stick to its self-imposed 12 to 18 months time to discuss prospects for expansion. On Twitter, Pittsburgh associate athletic director / media relations EJ Borghetti wrote: "Now hear this: rumors on Internet forums shoutl be read for entertainment purposes only and is not consumed as responsible journalism."
